At SPARQ, we believe that purchasing a pony starts with finding the right match. Not only between pony and rider, but also with realistic expectations and proper guidance.

The process

Everything prior to the final payment works just like a normal purchase: you can view and try the pony and, if desired, arrange an additional veterinary examination before deciding to bid.

• Register first via our website. Once registered, you will have access to the available X-rays and veterinary reports of the ponies. By registering, you agree to the auction terms and conditions.
• Before the auction closes, you are very welcome to come and see, ride and try the pony. You can do this as often as our schedule allows, so you can make sure the pony is the right match for you.
• All ponies have been vetted. If you would like to arrange an additional veterinary examination or re-vetting, this is also possible in consultation with us.
• Once you have found the right pony, you can place your bids online through your registered account.
• If a bid is placed within the final 5 minutes, the closing time will automatically be extended by another 5 minutes, giving everyone a fair chance to respond.
• The final bid price will be increased by 10% auction commission excl. VAT.
• For each individual lot, it is clearly indicated whether VAT applies to the purchase price.

All ponies in the auction are presented with extensive information, photos, and videos. Ponies carrying the Wielbraek Select label are either in training at or owned by Stal De Wielbraek and are fully guided by our team. Other ponies are offered by external owners and have been approved by us for the auction. For these ponies, the trial process takes place in consultation with both SPARQ and the owner.
